IMMEDIATE OPENING

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a dependable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC certified preferred and general repairs, and will be committed to delivering high-quality maintenance services in a timely and professional manner.

Monday - Friday shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks in apartments and common areas, including:

• Plumbing (e.g., fixing leaks, unclogging drains)

• Electrical (e.g., replacing outlets, troubleshooting lighting)

• Carpentry (e.g., door repairs, cabinetry fixes)

• HVAC and appliance repair and replacement

• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (turnovers/make-readies)

• Complete resident service requests/work orders promptly and professionally

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

• Assist with groundskeeping duties as needed (e.g., trash pickup, snow removal)

• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations

• Communicate effectively with residents, coworkers, and property management

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in residential, commercial, or multifamily housing preferred

• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in various conditions

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
