Senior Manager, Data Transformation - Neuroscience

Senior Manager, Data Transformation role leading development of scalable clinical and omics data products for neuroscience research. Responsibilities include designing data models, optimizing processing pipelines, and mentoring junior engineers to deliver AI-ready datasets across discovery and translational research.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data models for clinical data extraction from diverse sources including scientific literature
- Design and optimize Nextflow/Tower pipelines integrating AWS S3, Snowflake, and TileDB for multi-omics data processing
- Establish reusable modules standardizing assay outputs into harmonized, analysis-ready formats
- Collaborate with architects and governance teams to embed FAIR principles and compliance into workflows
- Mentor junior engineers and drive standardization of development practices and pipeline optimization
Requirements
- MS or PhD in Bioinformatics, Data Engineering, or Computer Science
- 5+ years developing data pipelines in life sciences or drug discovery research
- Hands-on experience with clinical data formats (CDISC SDTM/ADaM, FHIR, OMOP)
- Proficiency with Nextflow, AWS, Python, and Bash scripting
- Experience with multi-omics workflows (proteomics, RNA-seq, metabolomics, single-cell)
- Familiarity with Snowflake, TileDB, and embedding/vector representation techniques
- Knowledge of clinical trial data and scientific literature; neuroscience experience preferred
