Chemical Blender Operator

Focus Tech, a leader in chemical manufacturing for the Printed Circuit Board industry, is seeking qualified candidates for our open Chemical Blender Operator position at our Tempe facility.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Follow the work order to pull the correct raw materials from the racks for each batch.
• Follow work order/manufacturing sheet to add chemicals in correct order and correct amount (usually by weight).
• Inspect empty packaging to verify it is clean.
• Ensure the proper amount of finished product is pumped into the packaging.
• Follow written procedures for handling hazardous chemicals.
• Labeling and or checking the other person's labeling to ensure finished product is properly labeled.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Previous experience with chemical mixing preferred.
• Previous computer skills required (data input, inventory control system, MS Office).
• Forklift experience (certification a plus).
• Oracle experience a plus.

The pay range for this position is between $20.00 and $23.00 per hour depending upon experience and qualifications.
