Ink Technician (3rd Shift)

Souderton, PA

Hourly Rate based on experience (plus $1 differential for 3rd Shift)

Hourly Rate will be based on experience and discussed during initial phone screen

3rd Shift 11pm-7am


Responsibilities:


Ink Technicians play a critical role in press efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety. This position supports production by managing inks, adhesives, solvents, and hazardous materials while ensuring accurate color matching and timely delivery to the presses.

This role is ideal for a detail oriented technician who enjoys hands on work, takes pride in quality and safety, and wants to grow within a manufacturing environment.

• Prepare color pulls and support press approvals toreduce waste and improve efficiency
• Stage, deliver, mix, and return inks and adhesivesto support press operations
• Receive, unload, store, and document ink,chemical, solvent, and adhesive deliveries
• Manage hazardous waste shipments and maintainsatellite accumulation areas in compliance with regulations and Fres-copolicies
• Mix inks and adhesives, open and close drums,weigh materials, and complete required documentation
• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurateinventory records
• Maintain housekeeping standards in ink and solventareas to prevent accidents and spills
• Operate forklifts and hand trucks to safely move materials
• Cross train in other departments as needed tosupport production
• Train new hires and support ongoing training ofteam members
• Report food safety, quality, and safety issues toappropriate personnel
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Prior ink room, printing, or manufacturingexperience preferred
• Strong work ethic with the ability to workindependently and support production teams
• Good attention to detail with required colordiscrimination and color matching skills
• Basic computer skills for inventory anddocumentation
• Ability to follow standard work procedures andsafety processes
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtaincertification
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, and stoop throughoutthe shift
• Ability to lift and pull at least 50 pounds andmove heavier loads using hand trucks or material handling equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent
