Associate Product Manager – Claims & Payments We are looking for an early‑career product manager to own the Claims & Payments surface, ensuring accurate and timely payments for members, providers, and employers. The role will work closely with the VP of Product, engineering, operations, and finance to drive the roadmap for in‑house claims adjudication, payer integrations, and operational tooling. Responsibilities Support the Claims & Payments product surface: claims adjudication logic, payer and employer reconciliation, payment operations tooling, and provider payments. Partner with engineering and operations to define requirements, write specs, and ship improvements to claims processing workflows. Instrument and monitor claims and payments data – identify errors, reconcile discrepancies, and surface findings to the team. Collaborate with Finance, Revenue Operations, and Payment Operations to understand business requirements and translate them into product solutions. Support the long‑term migration away from Alegeus, contributing to discovery, requirements gathering, and execution as the roadmap evolves. Learn Maven's payments infrastructure end to end—payer integrations, adjudication logic, employer configuration—and become the subject matter expert. Qualifications 1‑3 years of product, operations, or analytical experience, ideally in healthcare, fintech, or a complex B2B2C environment. Curiosity about how payment and claims systems work; a willingness to become an expert. Strong analytical skills: comfortable with data, identifying patterns, and communicating findings clearly. Detail orientation—precision is critical because errors affect members and providers. High ownership mentality: follow through, flag issues early, and take initiative. Clear written and verbal communication—translate complex system behavior into plain language for non‑technical stakeholders. Familiarity with AI‑assisted workflows is a plus. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $130,000–$150,000 per year. Salary decisions are based on qualifications and experience.
