Job Details Job Title: Geography PT Faculty (POOL) Location: UWG Recruiting Location Regular/Temporary: Temporary Full/Part Time: Part-Time Job ID: 267847 Job Summary The Geology Program is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach introductory undergraduate human/physical geography and GIS lectures and laboratory courses depending upon specific qualifications. Part‑time faculty are critical to the mission of the Geography Program to meet the course demands of UWG students. Part‑time positions may or may not be available every semester; part‑time faculty are hired as needed. However, part‑time opportunities are typically available each semester. Responsibilities Teach introductory human/physical geography and GIS lecture and/or laboratory courses (e.g., GEOG 1013, 1112, 1112L, 1113, 1113L; GEOG/ENVS 2202 and 2202L). Required Qualifications Minimum of 18 graduate level course credits in geography, environmental science, or related discipline. Candidates must provide information/references that support teaching effectiveness. Preferred Qualifications Master's or Doctoral Degree in Geography, Environmental Science, or related discipline. Applications and credentials should correlate with the specific areas of application. Teaching experience in lecture and laboratory settings.
