Location: Onsite - 3185 W. Vine Street Floor 1, Kissimmee, Florida, 34741 - CenterWell Senior Primary Care Center Hiring Manager: Frances Andino Max Pay: $20.50 | Bill rate: $29.11 Contract Length: 7/27/2026 to 12/31/2026

Bilingual Medical Assistant II providing both clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient care setting. First point of contact for patient care. Ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, experienced in direct patient care, comfortable in high-volume healthcare environment, collaborating closely with physicians and nursing staff.

Responsibilities:

• Primary point of contact for patients, exceptional customer service
• Discuss symptoms and gather patient information for EMR documentation
• Take and record vital signs accurately
• Administer injections and assist with clinical procedures per certification
• Perform diagnostic testing and specimen collection
• Draw blood and support phlebotomy activities
• Prepare, clean, sterilize exam rooms and medical equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, clinical staff
• Administrative duties: scheduling, documentation, patient follow-up
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, regulatory requirements
• Support fast-paced, high-volume outpatient environment

Required Qualifications:

• 1-3 years Medical Assistant experience in back-office/direct patient care setting
• Active Medical Assistant certification/registration (CMA, RMA, or equivalent state-required credential)
• Current CPR certification
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment
• Basic computer skills, MS Outlook proficiency
• Team player
• Willingness to participate in required health screenings incl. TB screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Hands-on professional phlebotomy experience
• Experience using EMR systems
• Experience with HEDIS and value-based care initiatives
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD coding and patient experience metrics
• Active certification (AAMA, NHA, ARMA, NAHP, AMT)
• Radiologic Technologist License (ARRT)
