Clinical Research CoordinatorThis is a full-time, temporary position currently estimated to last until December 31, 2026 (subject to business needs). There may be the possibility for this position to become permanent.The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) supports the coordination and execution of clinical research studies within a healthcare setting. This role ensures clinical trials are conducted in compliance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and institutional policies while protecting participant safety and data integrity. Working closely with Principal Investigators (PIs), research staff, and study participants, the CRC assists with participant screening, data collection, and the coordination of study activities to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality research outcomes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in the coordination and execution of clinical research protocols under the supervision of the PI and senior research staffConduct screening visits to collect medical history & other information from study participantsAssist with informed consent and enrollment of study participants in accordance with protocol requirements and ethical guidelinesCoordinate and schedule study visits, procedures, and follow-up activities with study participants and clinical teamsCollect, record, and maintain accurate clinical research data and source documentation in compliance with regulatory and institutional standardsCommunicate with study participants to provide education, answer questions, and support adherence to study requirementsMonitor study progress and report adverse events, protocol deviations, and other study-related issues to the research teamAdhere to site standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelinesDraw, process, and ship laboratory specimens, including the handling of dangerous goods, in accordance with regulations (if qualified)Scan, upload, file, and maintain organized study records and documentationApply critical thinking skills to support efficient study operations and problem resolutionPerform other duties as assignedThe Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) supports the coordination and execution of clinical research studies within a healthcare setting. Working closely with Principal Investigators (PIs), research staff, and study participants, the CRC assists with participant screening, data collection, and the coordination of study activities to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality research outcomes.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's degree or higher in a health-related field preferredBasic knowledge of clinical research strongly preferredMedical terminology & patient care experience requiredStrong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse populationsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentKnowledge of GCP, HIPAA, ALCOA principles, FDA regulations, and IATA guidelines strongly preferredExperience with participant screening and the informed consent process strongly preferredProficiency with electronic data capture systems, clinical trial management software, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) preferredCertificates, Licenses, and Registrations:Medical Assistant (MA) certification preferredCurrent CPR/BLS certification preferredCertification as a Clinical Research Coordinator (e.g., CCRC) or a willingness to obtain certification preferredACN does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
