Dates of Coverage: November 2 - January 29Clinic coverage is 8:30a-4:30pWeekend call rotation: Fri 4:30p - Mon 8a - every 5th or 6th weekend JOB DETAILS: Practice Setting: Free-Standing Cancer Center Call Schedule: call schedule is 1 week out of every 6-8 weeksPatient Population for Required Coverage: Adult GeriatricReason for Coverage: Loss of providerWhat Percentage of the Practice is Hematology Oncology Internal Medicine : 65 benign hematology 35 malignant oncology 0 internal medicineNumber of Physicians in Practice: 7How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 6Average Number of Patients Per Day - OUTPATIENT: 25Average Number of Patients Per Day - HOSPITAL Call/Rounding: 20Clinical Area: Oncology - Outpatient Setting Oncology - Inpatient SettingTrauma Level/Designation Hospital: N/ADocumentation System/EMR: EPICRequired Duties: Participation on a Tumor Board Mgmt. of Bone Marrow Transplants Blood Bank Orders Tests Orders Images PrescribesAdministration of Chemotherapy: Nurse Oncologist**Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 DaysFacility reimbursement for the following costs: Flight Hotel Rental Car Mileage Billed at the IRS Standard Rate Additional questions/Answered by the facility: Site requires providers to treat more than 12 patients per day. Inpatient is a requirement of this need. Candidates who are not willing to participate in inpatient coverage will not be considered. Can you clarify the patient volume for outpatient and inpatient? The outpatient service and the hospital service are separate. A provider would not be covering both on the same day.
