Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in a hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. The position requires maintaining strict adherence to clinical standards to ensure patient safety and comfort during recovery.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; registered nurse license in the state where care is provided; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field; Procedural Sedation Competency; minimum two (2) years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit environment; minimum two (2) years of clinical care experience with pediatric patients, preferably in Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, or Post Anesthesia Care Unit settings; minimum two (2) years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in outpatient settings; minimum two (2) years of experience in Pain Management injection procedures.
• Additional Information: The candidate should demonstrate proficient skills in clinical procedures related to PACU, including pain management and sedation practices. Certification assessments may be required. Duration of assignment is from 10/04/2026 to 01/02/2027.
