As a Sales Associate, you’ll be on the front lines, engaging with customers, identifying their needs, and delivering tailored solutions that drive sales and build long-term relationships.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Sales Associate your primary responsibility will be to drive sales and provide outstanding customer service through multiple channels.

• Consultative Sales: Identify customer needs and recommend the right metal products, value-added services, and cutting solutions. Build rapport to create repeat business and long-term relationships.

• Engaging with Customers: Spend your day on your feet, moving between our sales counter, the office, and the shop floor to assist customers from trade professionals to do-it-your-selfers.

• Problem-Solving & Solutions: Act as a trusted advisor, offer tailored solutions that fit customer needs and budget.

• Multitasking: Manage in-store interactions, phone inquiries, eCommerce orders, and online quote requests promptly and professionally.

• Quote & Order Management: Provide accurate pricing, prepare quotes, follow up on leads, and close sales. Process orders and manage transactions with precision.

• Data Entry: Enter customer profile details, correct material dimensions, payment info, and any order specifications into our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system in a timely manner, with precision and attention to detail.

• Work as a Team: Collaborate and communicate with Supervisors, Warehouse Associates, Drivers, and other Sales Associates to provide customers with a seamless, one-stop experience.

• Sales Target Achievement: Support sales goals by maintaining stock control, monitoring margins, and ensuring customers return for future orders.

• Essential Experience & Skills: At least one year of proven customer service, retail sales or inside sales experience, strong computer and math skills, and excellent communication abilities.
