Receiver

Essential Job Functions: Check in all vendors in the receiving area. Scan or key in all product brought into the store. Discover and refuse unauthorized items delivered to the store. Control all traffic in and out of the rear area of the store and restrict all unauthorized personnel. Complete and maintain all forms required by company management. Responsible for all paperwork such as invoices and credits. Secure receiving equipment against unauthorized use. Responsible for markdown and/or reclaim of damaged/spoiled merchandise in accordance with company policy and all local, state and federal laws. Require vendors to sign and/or fill out appropriate paperwork. Make sure all vendors are aware of the rules, procedures, and methods, which they must follow when delivering product to the store.
