Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Summary Full‑time Physical Therapist with Orthopedic and Neurologic experience is required to provide physical therapy services to patients who have impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease or other causes. The role collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, educates patients and families, directs and supervises support personnel, and manages technical, environmental, and financial resources effectively and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Assess and evaluate physical therapy needs according to organizational and professional guidelines. Develop a treatment plan reflecting the patient’s age, situation, and discharge plan. Revise the treatment plan based on patient progress toward stated goals. Ensure documentation is complete, timely, and in accordance with facility and practice guidelines. Orient, train, and mentor therapy and health‑care students to meet performance expectations. Identify and act upon performance‑improvement opportunities to implement best practices. Complete additional department, organization, or network activities per established objectives. Licensed (good standing) Physical Therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Registered BLS. Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Basic skills in math, computer science, and computer proficiency; proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software. Knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques for the rehabilitation population. Effective problem‑solving skills for evaluation, interpretation, treatment planning and execution, considering patients’ age, psychosocial, cultural, and religious background. Ability to safely execute all job responsibilities without risking injury to self or patients. Teaching and self‑assessment skills to identify learning needs, strengths, and professional goals. Adaptability to variable work schedule (evening, holidays, weekend, travel) as required by hospital/program needs. Employment Details Location: 570 Worcester Road, Framingham (Onsite). Schedule: 40 hours weekly, including variable shifts as needed. Shift: Day. Employee type: Regular. Pay range: $90,084.80 – $117,696.80 per year (Grade6).
