The candidate will join a Clinical Mental Health Team of five other clinicians. The essential duties include providing preventative models, intervention for specific diagnoses, special education services, 504 services, Educational Support Team services, and other layered school supports. The candidate will provide individual and family therapy, develop treatment plans, conduct psychosocial evaluations and assessments, behavior planning, family work, and consultation within the school setting with consistent opportunities for collaboration with teachers, school administrators, and the Kingdom East mental health team. The candidate will monitor and implement multi-tiered, research‑based educational preventative supports and responses, including behavioral and mental health services to address school, family, and student needs. The role requires excellent communication, networking, and organizational skills and will work alongside district school‑based clinicians, school psychologists, school‑to‑home coordinators, school counselors, and school nurses. A Clinical Master’s degree and OPR licensure are required. Clinical supervision hours are supported. Enthusiasm and love of working with children are required. Pay range: $57,750‑$104,504 per year. Kingdom East School District has seven pre‑K‑8th grade schools ranging from 60 to 500 students. High‑school students choose from independent schools or other options. The district is located within the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, 3 hours from Boston, Montreal, and Portland, ME. The region offers outdoor recreation and cultural venues.
