French Transcriber for AI Training

Role Overview

Help improve next-generation AI systems by turning French audio into accurate, linguistically sound training data. This remote contract role focuses on reviewing machine-generated transcripts, capturing language nuances, and producing clear annotations that support advanced AI data use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and correct French transcriptions for accuracy, completeness, and linguistic integrity.
• Add detailed metadata tags and annotations to transcripts.
• Analyze audio for nuances, dialects, and errors that automated tools may miss.
• Work with the customer’s team to maintain quality standards and support project goals.
• Provide clear feedback and contribute to process improvements through strong written and verbal communication.
• Maintain close attention to detail across transcription and annotation work.
• Meet project deadlines while consistently delivering high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Fluency in French as used in France, with exceptional comprehension and written expression.
• Proven transcription experience, including correcting and refining machine-generated transcripts.
• Experience applying metadata tags and linguistic annotations.
• Strong attention to accuracy, consistency, and detail.
• Excellent written and verbal French communication skills, plus professional-level English.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying aligned with a customer team.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an audio engineer, data annotator, or professional transcriber.
• Knowledge of language technologies and machine learning data workflows.
• Experience working with multicultural or distributed remote teams.

Work Terms

• Remote contract position.

Compensation

• $10 to $25 per hour.
