Job Summary:

The logistics supervisor position is responsible for overseeing warehouse employees and daily warehouse operation. The supervisor is also responsible for coordinating and dispatching driver loads daily. This individual should be self-motivated and willing to take ownership of this position with strong leadership skills.   

Responsibilities:

• Dispatch and coordinate driver’s routes
• Supervise warehouse staff
• Set rules of performance for staff
• Prioritize daily operations
• Maintain equipment maintenance
• Accurate receiving of inventory 
• Shipping of correct inventory 

Qualifications:

• Previous trucking experience preferred
• 2 years of supervisory experience
• Ability to lead people
• Good communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to prioritize
• Building products industry experience preferred
• Computer skills
• Must be able to reliably commute to work daily
