Job Description

Popular Breakfast and Brunch restaurant currently looking for a server in our casual dining environment, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service as part of a medium-sized team of 6 to 15 servers. You will work rotating shifts and have opportunities for career advancement as you develop your skills and expertise in the restaurant industry.

Responsibilities

Take customer orders accurately and efficiently

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in restaurant service

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
Cash handling skills
Strong customer communication
Ability to multitask effectively
Welcoming and sitting diners comfortably in the dining section
Taking customers’ food and drink orders
Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders
Memorizing the menu and recommend appetizers, meals and drinks from restaurant wine stock
Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly
Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant
Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events
Ensuring cooking utensils and kitchen area are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations

We're located in downtown historic Ferguson, Missouri known for its great businesses and lovely homes. Our restaurant seats 218 customers and we're open seven days per week.
