Dental Assistant - Cypress

The Airway Dentists' mission is to provide exceptional dental care and rid the world of sleep disordered breathing. With offices in The Heights, Woodforest, Sugar Land, Friendswood, and Atascocita (and more to come), we provide orthodontic, sleep apnea, and general dentistry services. We are hiring a full-time Dental Assistant to join us in redefining the standard of care in dentistry.

Will have a passion for helping patients and supporting our dentists. Full-time, paid Dental Assistant position to assist skilled Airway Dentists

Taking ownership of back office duties and systems
Taking and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs
Scanning patients for procedures using iTero scanner, pre- and post-op work, crowns and bridges
Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments
Understanding each phase of our Airway, Invisalign and general dentistry treatments
Placing temporary crowns, attachments, buttons, and fixed expanders
Creating, managing, coordinating, and following up with online scheduling, consults, xywuqvp and virtual appointments
Cleaning suction traps, running cleaners in equipment, and ordering supplies
We prefer candidates with at least 2 years' experience as a Dental Assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and medical equipment
Proficient in taking accurate dental radiographs
Must have a positive attitude with a willingness to learn new dental technologies and techniques
