Travel Nurse Position

Please do not upload a traveler to any need on my desk who is going to request schedule accommodations (block scheduling, etc). Thank you! May be asked to work as a backup charge nurse. Coordinates total nursing care for patients. Participates in patient and family teaching. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. EMR: Cerner. Nurse to patient ratio: 1 to 4/5. Average daily patient census: 22. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload. RTO requests after upload will not be approved!! No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted (less is better). Traveler must be willing to work two of the following: Thanksgiving and weekend after Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and weekend after New Year Eve/New Year Day and weekend after. Local travelers - those who reside within 50 miles of the facility - are not eligible for this need. This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement. 8 hours non-billable orientation. Call-back, holiday and OT multipliers: 1.25%. Call: ***/hour Charge: ***/hr. Submission requirements note, this is a med surg position! Block scheduling will not be considered for this need. 2 years recent med surg & rehab experience - required. May float between acute rehab and med surg. Charge RN experience required. Previous travel (at least 3 months) - required. BSN preferred. This is a small community without public transport.
