Senior Risk Consultant - Property Risk Engineering (Pre-loss Strategy)

Unlimited Restoration, Inc. (URI) We're hiring a full time Senior Risk Consultant - with a focus on FM Global–level risk engineering. If your background is in property risk engineering or loss control, this will stand out. Most roles in this space follow a pattern: You assess risk. You write the report. And then... you move on. At Unlimited Restoration (URI), that's not how this works. We're building a role where: Risk assessments actually drive decisions Findings turn into action And you stay connected to the outcome What we're specifically looking for: Experience with FM Global risk assessment standards or similar methodologies Background in property risk engineering or carrier-side loss control Ability to evaluate commercial and industrial properties and quantify exposure What you'll be doing Conducting structured property risk assessments Identifying fire, water, and system vulnerabilities Quantifying financial and business interruption risk Advising ownership and asset managers on mitigation strategies Helping position URI before large loss events occur What makes this role different Your work doesn't sit on a shelf You help shape real-world outcomes You're involved in high-value, complex loss environments You have a direct connection to revenue and client impact This is a fit if you Come from FM Global, Chubb, Zurich, or a similar environment Have experience with formal risk engineering standards Want to move beyond purely advisory roles Care about both impact and execution This is not a fit for Restoration-only backgrounds Purely operational roles Candidates without formal property risk assessment experience Required Qualifications 7+ years experience in property risk engineering, loss control, or equivalent Direct experience with or strong familiarity with: FM Global risk assessment standards and methodologies Carrier-based property risk engineering (Chubb, Zurich, AIG, etc.) Proven ability to: Conduct structured property risk assessments Evaluate complex commercial/industrial facilities Identify and quantify loss exposure Preferred Background FM Global (Account Engineer, Consultant Engineer) Property Loss Control (carrier side) Risk engineering consulting firms Core Competencies Ability to translate technical risk into financial impact Strong executive presence and communication skills Systems thinking (understanding interdependencies across building systems) Commercial mindset with an understanding of revenue impact Ability to influence decision-making at the ownership/portfolio level This role reports to the CEO and is based in Orlando, FL with approximately 30–50% regional travel.
