Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

$1958.40/week –

Job Summary:
Provide diagnostic imaging services using X-ray and radiology equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Ensure patient safety and ensure high-quality imaging procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate GE, portable GE, and Shiatzu radiology equipment according to protocol.

• Perform all diagnostic imaging procedures, including portable, trauma, fluoroscopic, and surgical imaging.

• Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging processes.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver accurate and timely results.

• Adhere to unit policies, guidelines, and safety protocols, including weekend rotations and on-call duties.

• Document procedures accurately in the EMR system (Cerner Rad Net).

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT (R) certification in radiologic technology.

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of radiology experience.

• Demonstrate proficiency in all areas of DX radiology, including portable and OR imaging.

• Be a team player capable of working independently when required.

• Maintain current licensure and certifications as per state and industry standards.
