As an Unarmed Security Officer, you are an integral part of the broad spectrum of specialized security services Inter-Con provides its clients every day./ppstrongSpecial Perks:/strong/pulliCourtesy carpool transport available/liliComplementary meals provided from time to time/liliWork out room/liliDry cleaning pick-up/liliRock climbing wall/li/ulpstrongMay include the following benefits:/strong/pulliCompetitive Pay/liliRecognition and Reward Programs./liliTraining and Career Development./liliOpportunities for Medical, dental, Holidays, vacation and sick, and 401 (k) retirement plan./liliParental leave, Tuition Reimbursement per year, Employee Assistance Programs/liliUniform and equipment provided./liliAdditional benefits vary depending on position./li/ulpSecurity personnel are to be certified and trained and will be assigned a variety of standing, sitting and walking posts./ppstrongExpected Responsibilities:/strong/pulliSecurity Officer Services - Level I shall include the following:/liulliPhysical Guard Services: 1) Provide overt incident response management, including medical incidents, natural disasters, and elevated threats 2) Provide basic emergency first response (including first aid, CPR, and AED) and de-escalation of security incidents 3) At Service Locations where an Account Manager and Supervisor are not staffed: maintain and audit contact lists, access cards and other related tasks for each Service Location./liliEvent Security Services: 1) Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing the safety and security of Client Personnel and assets across event venues, which shall include but not be limited to the following: a) Event security coordination and management b) Crowd management c) Crowd movement planning d) Access control e) Perimeter control f) Safety and security incident response g) Asset protection h) Additional related services as requested./liliCCTV and Alarm Monitoring Services: 1) Monitor alarms and CCTV cameras to ensure that all access points (doors, gates, hatches, enclosures, vehicles, dock roll-up doors etc.) are locked and secure 2) Monitor alarms and CCTV cameras for any security incidents, responding appropriately to any breach in security and/or safety standards./liliAlarm Response Services: 1) Perform alarm response services for each Service Location specified by GSOC 2) Maintain constant contact with the GSOC Team while a sub-contractor performs the alarm monitoring services and assist GSOC with the completion of GSOC incident report./liliBadging Services 1) Ensure all Client full time employees and extended workforce members enter Client offices and sites using the access card system, in accordance with Clients physical security resilience policy a) When access card systems are not in place or are not functional, Contractor shall escalate equipment/system failure and follow site procedures 2) Administer badging process of new hires and those who are in need of replacement badges./liliLost and Found Services: 1) Assist Clients Real Estate and Workplace Services team in managing the lost and found services; these services may include but not be limited: a) reporting lost and found items storing and maintaining inventory of found items 2) Contractor is not responsible or liable for items found or stored in Client facilities, unless the lost and found item is deemed lost or otherwise misplaced due to the negligence, willful misconduct or on account of a policy violation of Clients security policy by the Contractor or its Personnel./liliVisitor and Guest Processing Services: 1) Log all visitors, contractors, and/or non-badged employees 2) Process visitors in accordance with Client security requirements and site procedures 3) Ensure all observed visitors are properly badged and escorted by a Client employee at all times; 4) Identify, correct and/or escalate improperly badged or unescorted visitors 5) In accordance with site procedures, maintain badge inventory and database, tied in with the access control system./liliExterior and Interior Perimeter Security Services: 1) Conduct patrols of all the buildings and sites at the Service Locations by foot, bicycle and/or vehicle per the schedule agreed to by Client 2) Regularly inspect exterior perimeters of buildings and property at Client Service Locations for security concerns. 3) Establish awareness of all unauthorized vehicles in parking and garage lots 4) Question all Client and non-Client Personnel found in restricted areas, or not wearing badges 5) Check all appropriate interior/exterior doors to assure proper security and alarm status 6) Check server rooms, telecom rooms, IDFs for security integrity./liliVehicle Access Point Monitoring: 1) Stand, greet, and verify access or visitor credentials, per Client policy 2) Log employee and visitor vehicles passing post 3) Monitor designated entrances and exits to Clients offices and sites to ensure Client personnel are using access badges to enter Client facilities./liliEscort Services: 1) Ensure escorted subcontractors, visitors, or non-provisioned individuals have access to the Service Location where necessary, but do not have access to restricted areas, Client intellectual and physical property beyond what is necessary to perform their task./li/ulpstrongQualifications:/strong/pulliA current guard card license as required by State or local law./liliMust pass a 7-panel drug test prior to placement./liliMust pass a criminal history check (based on fingerprints were permitted by law) independent of state professional certification requirements./liliMust undergo employment verification check back to age 18./liliMust undergo motor vehicle record checks./liliEducation and Experience:/liulliHigh school diploma or equivalent;
