About the Position

Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Labor and Delivery License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Must-Have: Labor and delivery experience Recovery experience Immediate newborn care PACU experience with c-sections Ability to scrub c-sections Familiarity with documentation systems Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Labor and Delivery setting. Candidates must be familiar with labor and delivery processes, recovery, and immediate newborn care. Experience with c-sections is required, including the ability to scrub for these procedures. Familiarity with Meditech or similar documentation systems is preferred. Active Texas RN License is required; temporary licenses will not be accepted. Candidates should demonstrate excellent patient care practices, including bedside shift reporting and adherence to patient experience protocols. The dress code requires scrubs to be provided by the facility, with guidelines for hair and body art. Candidates must be attentive to attendance policies and demonstrate professionalism throughout their employment.
