By joining our network, you position yourself for opportunities aligned with your career goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.Oversee the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion within established parameters.Implement and enforce engineering best practices, standards, and safety protocols.Evaluate and recommend new technologies and methodologies to advance manufacturing capabilities.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.Proven experience with lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma), and process optimization in a production environment.Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple engineering projects from conception to completion.Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technical staff.Experience with relevant manufacturing technologies and systems (e.g., CAD/CAM, PLM, ERP).Bonus QualificationsExperience with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Familiarity with ERP systems and their application in manufacturing.Advanced degree (e.g., MS, MBA) in a relevant field.Patent or publication record related to engineering or manufacturing.Job Titles That Should ApplyEngineering Lead, Head of Engineering, Director of Engineering, Technical Manager, Software Engineering Manager, Principal Engineering Manager, Senior Engineering Manager, Lead Software Engineer, Manager, Software EngineeringWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
