Overview

Seeking an experienced ER/ICU Float RN to provide high-quality patient care in both the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit . The ideal candidate must be comfortable rotating between both departments based on staffing needs.

Looking for a traveler who has experience in both the ER and ICU, as they will rotate departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in both ER and ICU settings
• Assess, monitor, and treat patients with a wide range of acute and critical conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety
• Float between ER and ICU as required

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER and ICU experience
• Experience in both Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit is required
• Ability to adapt quickly and work in high-acuity environments
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and prioritization skills

Certifications

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS and/or TNCC
