Structural Project Engineer

Structural Project Engineer – SESW Facilities GroupC&S Companies is seeking a motivated Structural Project Engineer to join our Facilities (SESW) group. This is a production-focused role suited for a detail-oriented engineer who thrives in a fast-paced design environment and takes ownership of deliverables from concept through construction documents. The ideal candidate brings 3 to 7 years of hands-on structural design experience and is comfortable working across multiple concurrent projects within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare structural design calculations, drawings, and specifications for new construction and renovation projects across a variety of facility types, including commercial, industrial, and public facilitiesDevelop and maintain Revit models for structural systems, coordinating with architectural and MEP disciplines within a BIM environmentPerform structural analysis using software such as STAAD, RAM, Enercalc, TEDDS, or similar toolProduce construction documents and details for structural systems including concrete, structural steel, masonry, timber, and light-gauge framingSupport project managers and senior engineers in meeting project schedules, budgets, and quality standardsCoordinate with internal disciplines and external consultants to resolve design conflicts and advance project deliveryRespond to requests for information (RFIs) and review submittals during the construction administration phaseContribute to multiple active projects simultaneously, maintaining a high level of production outputQualificationsRequired:Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program3 to 7 years of structural engineering experience in a consulting or design firm environmentProficiency in Revit for structural modeling and documentationWorking knowledge of structural analysis software (STAAD, RAM, Enercalc, or equivalent)Familiarity with applicable building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, NDS)Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a production-driven settingEffective written and verbal communication skillsPreferred:Experience with facilities projects such as commercial buildings, government facilities, industrial structures, or similar building typesExposure to construction administration, including RFI and submittal reviewExperience working in a multidisciplinary AEC firmEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certificationNote: A Professional Engineer (PE) license is not required for this position.Why C&S CompaniesC&S has a wide range of expertise in the inspection, assessment, analysis, design, and construction of new structures and additions, as well as rehabilitation of existing building structures.
