Registered Dietitian (RD) – Join Our Team

The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our interdisciplinary care team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring residents receive proper nutritional care to support their recovery, health, and overall well-being.

• Conduct nutritional assessments for residents and develop individualized nutrition care plans

• Monitor and evaluate residents’ dietary needs, weight trends, and nutritional status

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal care

• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents and families when appropriate

• Oversee and ensure compliance with dietary regulations, CMS guidelines, and facility policies

• Participate in care plan meetings and clinical discussions

• Review and approve therapeutic diets and menu plans in coordination with dietary staff

• Maintain accurate documentation and medical records

• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration

• Florida Dietitian/Nutritionist license (or eligibility to obtain)

• Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing facilities preferred

• Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, therapeutic diets, and regulatory requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
