Sr Project Manager - Water / Wastewater Utility ConstructionPhoenix, AZOn-Site RoleCompensation: $130,000 - $200,000 per yearABOUT THE ROLEOur client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead small to medium water and wastewater utility construction projects throughout the Phoenix area, with project values ranging from $250k to $20M. This role is responsible for overseeing all phases of project delivery, from initial planning through completion, ensuring quality, safety, and budget adherence. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with clients, general contractors, superintendents, safety managers, field personnel, estimators, and other project stakeholders. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to represent the company professionally and make frequent job site visits. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced in water/wastewater construction, with proficiency in project management tools and construction documentation.WHAT YOU'LL DOLead and coordinate project teams on small to medium water and wastewater treatment construction projects ($250k – $20M)Work closely with clients, general contractors, superintendents, safety managers, field personnel, estimators, and other stakeholders to ensure project successCollaborate with superintendent and quality control to manage material schedules, work schedules, and procurement of job materials and equipmentPrepare and complete AutoCAD installation drawing packages for field teamsProduce and manage project billings, budgets, and purchase ordersProcess change order requests and related project administrative documentsComplete and submit accurate project submittalsPrepare and review operations and maintenance manualsDevelop logical and sequential project schedules using Microsoft Project; maintain and update schedules and budgets throughout project lifecycleEnsure all project documentation is accurate and compliant with client and regulatory requirementsRepresent the company in a professional manner in all interactions, both internally and externallyWork from the Phoenix headquarters and conduct frequent job site visits throughout the ValleyWHAT YOU BRINGBachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or mechanical engineering required7+ years of water/wastewater construction industry experience highly desiredAdvanced skills in Excel and Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam requiredBasic AutoCAD experience preferredAbility to read plans and specifications for all disciplines on water/wastewater projectsExperience with Alternative Procurement Delivery Methods (APDM) such as CSP, CMAR, D-B, JOC highly desiredStrong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively with diverse project teamsSelf-motivated with proven ability to lead and manage project teamsProficiency in Microsoft Project for developing and maintaining project schedulesAbility to produce project billings, budgets, and purchase orders accurately and efficientlyExperience preparing and reviewing operations and maintenance manualsAbility to represent the company professionally and make frequent job site visits throughout the Phoenix area#LI-JR3
