What You'll Do As an Assistant Manager at Palm Berries Charlotte, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and our customers leave with a smile. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Supporting the Manager in overseeing daily operations. Leading and motivating the team to deliver exceptional customer service. Assisting with inventory management and ensuring product quality. Helping to create a welcoming and organized environment for both staff and customers. Addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Contributing to the overall success of the business through teamwork and initiative. What We're Looking For We're looking for a proactive, organized, and dependable Assistant Manager who can support daily store operations, help lead our team, and maintain Palm Berries' standards. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate: Inventory Management:Assist with monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular inventory counts, placing orders, minimizing waste, and ensuring the store remains properly stocked. Scheduling & Staffing:Assist with creating and maintaining employee schedules, managing availability and time-off requests, and coordinating coverage to meet operational needs. Team Leadership & Performance:Monitor employee performance, identify areas for improvement, provide constructive feedback, and regularly report team progress and concerns to the owner. Training & Accountability:Support new-hire training, reinforce operational procedures, and ensure team members consistently meet company standards. Communication & Problem-Solving:Maintain clear communication with the owner and team, proactively address operational challenges, and help create a positive, productive work environment. Organization & Initiative:Demonstrate strong time-management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to take ownership of assigned responsibilities. Previous management experience is preferred but not required.We're looking for someone who demonstrates leadership potential, takes initiative, and is willing to learn and grow with our business.
