Retail Associate - Warehouse Store - Part TimeSchedule: Monday 8:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Wednesday 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 1:30 PMThe Retail Associate staffs the company store and supports fellow associates by providing a high level of customer service while associates are shopping in the Company Store.Responsibilities and DutiesWork with DC Management to select merchandise for store sale.Analyze internal sales trends to identify opportunities for increased sales, discontinued items, price reductions.Resolve Associate concerns as needed in a professional manner.Stock store shelves with merchandise delivered by DC Operations.Receive internal and external merchandise verifying accuracy of delivery, note discrepancies or fulfillment of deliveries.Process Sales thru Point-of-Sale systemRun POS reports as required by DC Management and Accounting, Finance.Maintain general cleanliness of store, including sweeping, dusting, trash removal to designated area.Notify supervisor of any repairs needed for the store or equipment.Open and/or Close Store as scheduled or per direction of DC Management.Perform other related tasks as assigned by DC Management.Qualifications6 months retail, grocery, and/or service industry experience, preferred.Good judgement is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred.Physical EnvironmentMost work is performed in a temperature-controlled warehouse/lifestyle center environment.May sit for periods of time at desk or computer terminal.May be required to use calculators, keyboards, telephone in the course of normal workday.Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.Operation of powered industrial equipment.UNFI is an Equal Opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment for all.
