Logistics Data AnalystA growing organization is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Logistics Data Analyst to serve as the data expert for its Logistics department. This role is responsible for transforming complex operational data into meaningful insights that drive decision-making, improve performance, and provide financial visibility across logistics operations.The ideal candidate enjoys solving business problems through data analysis, identifying trends and root causes, and presenting findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This position plays a key role in supporting leadership through KPI reporting, dashboard development, operational analysis, and continuous process improvement.This is an excellent opportunity for a data-driven professional looking to make a measurable impact within a growing logistics organization.Key Responsibilities:Analyze logistics data to identify trends, risks, and operational opportunitiesProduce accurate, timely, and actionable reports to support leadership decisionsValidate operational initiatives using performance data and analyticsPerform financial and P&L analysis, including logistics costs and operational expensesIdentify cost drivers, variances, savings opportunities, and cost leakageBuild, maintain, and improve KPI dashboards and operational scorecardsDevelop recurring reports and perform ad hoc analysis as neededConduct root cause analysis for operational and service issuesMeasure project performance before and after implementationDevelop ROI analyses to support business decisions and process improvementsEnsure data quality, consistency, and reporting accuracy across multiple systemsInvestigate discrepancies and resolve data quality issuesDocument reporting logic, data definitions, and calculation methodologiesPartner with Logistics, Warehouse, Finance, Technology, and Operations teams to provide actionable insightsQualifications:Strong analytical experience collecting, cleaning, organizing, and interpreting operational or financial data requiredAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel requiredExperience with reporting tools, dashboards, and KPI development preferredStrong understanding of logistics, supply chain, or operations analytics preferredExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to present data to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentBachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field preferredLocation: Newark, NJType: Full timeSalary: $70,000/year
