Warehouse Lead

Experienced warehouse associate capable of leading others in the receiving and unloading carriers, delivering packages, pulling orders and putting material away as needed. You must have a great eye for detail, basic math skills and knowledge of ERP systems for entering and receiving purchase orders. This position pays $20-25/hour depending upon experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts to safely unload carriers.
• Capable of inspecting deliveries for damages, and discrepancies.
• Experience in inventory management, storekeeping, and stockroom operations for handling mechanical and electrical components.
• Working knowledge of computer programs for the receipt of purchased goods.
• Deliver items to requisitioning departments and obtains authorized signatures for accepted items.
• Pick and pack sales orders, work orders and kits for production floor daily.
• The ability to work independently and to train and oversee the work of other warehouse associates.
• Serves as a back-up to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of previous warehouse or stockroom experience
• Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations
• Good communication skills for interfacing with carriers, internal customers & management
• Must be able to lift or pull objects up to 50+ lbs. with or without accommodation
• Team oriented attitude
• Experience using ERP systems, MS Word, MS Excel, outlook and email
• Works well with others to assist in their job duties and train as required
