ECG services the locomotive, shipping, mechanical press, oil and gas and compression markets.Today, ECG has four facilities throughout PA. We are currently seeking a full-time Utility Maintenance Technician for our facility in Hermitage, PA and will assist all locations as needed. This non-exempt position may require overtime, weekends and rotating shifts as needed and may also require on-call responsibilities as dictated by business needs.This position's primary responsibilities will include completing CNC and manual equipment preventative maintenance schedules by completing fluid, filter and media refreshments. Full training will be provided for all encompassing areas of the job; however, proven knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is required by the successful candidate.Minimum Qualifications:Intermediate knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systemsMechanical/Analytical skills demonstrated via an examinationProficiency with common hand tools and power toolsStrong computer skillsFamiliar with manufacturing processes and machining equipmentMachine tool experience or manufacturing equipment working knowledgeMust have a standard mechanics set of tools, including wrenches, sockets and screwdrivers.One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to troubleshoot equipment issuesStrong analytical and problem solving abilitiesAbility to read/interpret blueprints and schematicsAbility to work well with a team as well as independently and be very self-motivatedMust be results oriented with a strong desire to succeedProven track record of continuous improvementHigh School diploma or equivalentValid driver's licenseResponsibilities will include:Preventative maintenance on machine tools for Hydraulics and Pneumatics systems.Performing oil, filter and line changesMonitoring machine coolant condition and providing correction as neededEnsuring machine preventative maintenance schedules are performed on a regular basisProviding preventative maintenance to mobile equipment and vehiclesAssisting with other duties, assignments, and projects as requiredOperating overhead cranes, forklifts, and material handling equipmentAssisting Maintenance Dept personnel with machine repairs and scheduled PM activitySupporting production personnel and provide periodic training for daily preventive maintenance activityPhysical Requirements:This position will require occasional material handling up to 100 pounds which could include floor lifts, shoulder lifts, overhead lifts, etc. The position will require occasional pushing and pulling material handling up to 50 pounds. The position will require frequent bending, climbing, kneeling and squatting and constant walking, bending and reaching. The physical demand category of this position is heavy.
