Division Director of Nurse Leader Support- East

Division Director of Nurse Leader Support Responsibilities Mentor and coach new, inexperienced, or under‑performing unit nursing leaders. Facilitate the execution of nurse leader priorities including fiscal responsibility, operations, people management, quality, safety, and patient experience. Collaborate with division and hospital leadership to identify development needs for unit nursing leadership. Make recommendations for sustained or improved performance. Coordinate and provide periodic group activities for support, mentoring, and boot‑camp sessions. Identify improvement themes, develop solutions, and elevate to enterprise leadership as needed. Teach evidence‑based best practices such as Colleague Rounding, Nurse Leader Rounding, and Safety Rounding. Conduct regular one‑to‑one coaching sessions with unit nursing leaders. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of healthcare leadership experience, preferred direct oversight of clinical units. Leadership experience in coaching, education, and/or project or program management. Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred. Texas RN license or compact license. National certification required within 6 months of hire. Independent, self‑driven, with strong relationship‑building skills. Comfortable and capable of having crucial conversations. Proven ability to coach and develop others.
