Emergency Room Nurse, Rumford, ME Located in Rumford, this position involves providing urgent care in a small, busy hospital that serves all ages with a variety of illnesses and injuries. The role requires flexibility and exceptional skill to manage a diverse patient population in a rural setting.

Job Details

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) all required.
• Education and Experience: Experience requirement: 0 years; qualified candidates should have the necessary certifications and be capable of managing a broad spectrum of emergency cases.
• Position Type: Contract; RN in the Emergency Room (ER) specialty.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional information: The RN will complement a small team, handling all ages and patient types, with high acuity cases since the hospital is the only local provider within 40 miles with trauma capabilities.
• Submission: Candidate must be available to start on 09/28/2026 and the contract ends on 12/28/2026.
