Responsibilities As a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) , you’ll play a critical role in helping individuals reclaim their ability to communicate and swallow safely and effectively. You’ll bring expertise, compassion, and creativity to every session—making a real difference in the lives of your patients. Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive‑communication, voice, and swallowing evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence‑based practices. Deliver direct therapy services and modify interventions based on patient response and progress. Educate patients, families, and caregivers to support carryover of skills and long‑term success. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care. Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress reports, and discharge summaries. Current state license (or eligibility) as a Speech‑Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred; CFs are welcome with strong mentorship offered.
