Strong working knowledge of State and Federal motor carrier regulations. Ability to operate, load and maintain Class A truck/trailer equipment in a safe, effective manner. Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and Medical Card. Ability to understand, follow and issue routine oral and written instructions. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Essential Functions Drive company trucks and deliver products to customers. Pick up and deliver parts to platers, steel factories and the plant. Complete vehicle circle checks and pre/post inspections on every trip. Responsible for proper maintenance and care of truck. Report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to supervisor. Follow all established safety rules and regulations. Move and position inventory and finished goods by use of pallet jacks and/or forklifts to their proper location. Represent the Company in a professional, honest and forthright manner. Load and unload trucks. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Use Axapta software programs to enter time/payroll information, job information and related data. The range for this position is displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors, including an individual's job‑related knowledge, skills, experience and education.
