As a Security Guard - Part Time - Weekend Evenings in Mount Prospect IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors employees and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures policies and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility parking areas entrances and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity maintenance concerns and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts Allied Universal leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
