Job Description
Join Our Dynamic CVOR Team!

Job Description:


- Be part of an elite team providing surgical interventions for both routine and complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures.


- Engage in a variety of cardiac procedures, including:
- Coronary artery bypass
- Valve repair/replacement
- Aortic dissection
- Heart transplantation
- Placement of ventricular assist devices, impella, and intra-aortic balloon pumps
- Adult ECMO and TAVR procedures in the endovascular OR

- Participate in thoracic cases with:
- Laparoscopic, robot-assisted, and open procedures

- Contribute to diverse vascular procedures, from:
- Placement/revision of ESRD grafts and fistulas
- Endovascular procedures in a specialized endovascular suite

- Work in a fast-paced environment featuring:
- 4-6 operating rooms based on daily volume, including an endovascular suite
- Capacity for four concurrent procedures requiring cardiopulmonary bypass

Qualifications:


- Minimum of 3 years of recent full-time experience as a CVOR circulator in a high-volume hospital setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures
- Ability to function independently and hit the ground running in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no training was needed

Schedule:


- 3 shifts (0645-1915) on weekends (Saturday/Sunday)
- One weekday shift (either Monday or Tuesday) based on departmental needs

Additional Information:


- Participation in the call schedule is voluntary
- Must meet all Ascension onboarding requirements
