I&C Engineer

Cedar Creek is a 1,100 MW simple-cycle gas turbine power project built under a lump-sum EPC contract. As I&C Engineer you govern the instrumentation and controls design on the owner's behalf: the control system, instrumentation, turbine controls, and fire and gas detection. What you get to do: Review control system architecture and instrumentation design. Assess control narratives, logic diagrams and alarm philosophy. Review the turbine control interface and plant control integration. Evaluate I&C change requests and field queries. Partner with the site team on controls technical questions. Track design deliverable status against the schedule. Monitor preservation and storage requirements for instrumentation. What you bring to the role: 10+ years in instrumentation and controls engineering for power or process plants. Hands-on experience with distributed control systems and turbine control integration. Working knowledge of ISA standards and functional safety. Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Procore and AI tools used with human verification.
