We are looking for candidate that has at least one year of cooking experience is preferable. The kitchen at Yang’s Braised Chicken Rice is a fast-moving environment, and as such, our cooks should be able to handle a high volume of plates on the stove and make sure that each dish is prepared according to the guidelines handed down by the cooperate team.

Job Responsibilities:

- Working Hours from 4 PM - 9 PM weekdays

- Available to work on Saturday and Sunday, either morning shift 11AM-4PM or 4PM-9PM

- Need to learn how to make our Burrito, French Toast, Acai Bowl, our signature braised chicken rice dish.

- Make sure to have enough portioned chicken for serving during shift and prep enough portioned chicken for next day's morning shift.

- Be able to use delivery tablets, to check/finish orders.

- Make sure the prep station is clean at all times.

- Report to restaurant supervisor on items that need to be reordered.

- Prepare our signature dish to perfection

- Follow all measurements to make the dish. NEVER CHANGE THE MEASUREMENTS.

- Make sure the kitchen is clean at all times

- Prep all items needed to prepare the dish

- Ensure food safety at all times in the kitchen. FOLLOW FOOD SAFETY PROCEDURES AT ALL TIMES.

- Help with other station whenever needed

- Be responsible for packing To Go and Web Orders.

- Enter log to keep track of the prepared bowls, wasted bowls, inventory control

- Be able to finish the above requirements solely.
