B2B Salesperson/ Retail Sales AssociateMiddletown, Connecticut RetailWe are looking for a B2B salesperson to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business. Candidates with strong communication skills who can build new relationships and nurture existing customer business will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. A full-time position would be offered to applicants who are also willing to work within the stores to supplement service. Pay is commensurate with experience; retail and B2B sales experience is highly desirable.Responsibilities:Manages accounts and nurtures business relationshipsCoordinating with customers over the phoneCoordinating with current B2B staff to deliver excellent serviceManaging reporting documents and updating whenever necessaryOn-site meetings with B2B customersQuoting, taking orders, assist in the delivery process if necessaryTravel between store locations as necessaryGreet and direct customersProvide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)Answer customers' questions about specific products/servicesConduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasingCross-sell productsEnsure racks are fully stockedCoordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)Inform customers about discounts and special offersProvide customer feedback to the Store ManagerStay up-to-date with new products/servicesSkills:Proven work experience as a Salesperson, Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar roleUnderstanding of the retail sales processFamiliarity with consumer behavior principlesKnowledge of inventory stocking proceduresBasic math skillsExcellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationshipsAbility to perform in fast-paced environmentFlexibility to work various shiftsFill customer propane tanks
