Lead Admissions Rep/Registrar

Come join our team! This full-time position is at Corona Regional Medical Center Hospital located in Corona, CA. Reporting to the Director of Patient Access Services, this position acts as a liaison between registration staff and the supervisor/manager. Provide direction to staff on day-to-day functions to ensure overall team operations run smoothly. Assign work to staff as needed. Provide training to staff on system and registration functions. Assist in the development of policies and procedures.

Qualifications: Knowledge of medical terminology, ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and non-verbally, strong interpersonal skills, ability to discuss personal and financial matters with patients and/or their representatives, good problem-solving and process efficiency skills, knowledge of insurance benefits, covered services, billing, and collection procedures for all government and non-government insurance programs, general knowledge of office procedures, ability to utilize resources in an organized manner, type 35-40 words per minute, use of computer keyboard, ability to use 10 key calculator. One year experience in a hospital admitting or medical business office. High school diploma required.
