Junior Design Verification Engineer, Amazon Leo

Salary: $114,600 - 160,400 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of verification experience, preferably in communication systems
• At least 2 years of UVM experience
• Preferred: Masters or Ph.D. in Electrical or Communications Engineering
• Preferred: At least 3 years of digital verification experience, preferably in communication systems
• Preferred: Familiarity with MATLAB
• Preferred: Modem design verification experience
• Preferred: Experience developing or integrating SystemC, C, or MATLAB models into design verification
• Preferred: Comfort using AI-assisted tools for verification tasks such as testbench generation, debugging, and coverage analysis
• Preferred: Familiarity with formal verification techniques
• Preferred: Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Export control eligibility: Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted to the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

• Implement a verification environment to test RTL against reference MATLAB and C models
• Develop test plans and tests, run regressions, gather coverage data, and report program progress
• Participate in validating ASIC implementations in Verilog and SystemVerilog
• Collaborate with design and communication systems teams on system-level verification using UVM testbenches
• Build an automated regression environment that supports builds and keeps the database organized
