Plaintiff’s litigation boutique law firm in West Los Angeles/Brentwood seeks an associates attorney with a minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience. The law firm practices in the areas of plaintiff’s wage & hour class action, legal malpractice, and individual employment. The candidate should have litigation experience and exceptional writing skills. Friendly working environment, no billing requirements, and must be motivated and have a passion for helping consumers. Salary will be based on experience. Responsibilities
- Prepare briefs, motions, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research
- Prepare for and attend legal proceedings
- Provide legal counsel in conjunction with senior associates
- Negotiate on behalf of clients
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records
- Successful completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school and bar exam
- Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues to best serve clients
