Job Title: Warehouse Worker (Stand Up Forklift or Reach Truck experience)

Shifts: Days and Nights available

6am - 6pm OR 6pm - 6am

Pay: $17 an hour - Pay increase after 90 days

Job Description

We are seeking skilled candidates to join our dynamic team in a shipping and receiving role. Ideal candidates will possess at least four of the seven skill sets required, as detailed below.

Responsibilities

• Manage shipping and receiving operations efficiently.
• Select and stage products for shipment accurately.
• Load and unload materials safely.
• Operate standup forklifts or reach trucks proficiently.
• Handle pallets with expertise, including wrapping and stacking.
• Conduct cycle counts and manage warehouse inventory.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems effectively.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in forklift operation.
• Experience in shipping and receiving processes.
• Ability to perform order selecting and staging.
• Competence in reach truck operation.
• Knowledge of inventory and logistics management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with order entry systems.
• Familiarity with RF scanners.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.

The role is based in a cold storage facility, equipped with new technologies and equipment. You will work in a dynamic warehouse setting that requires handling of heavy lifting and palletizing.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Polk City, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
