At FirstLight® Home Care, we’re dedicated to hiring the kind of people we would trust with our own families for full or part-time positions. We’re currently searching for quality caregivers who are committed to making a difference in the lives of others for our clients in the Colorado Springs, Castle Rock/Parker, Woodland Park, Peyton area. For these folks, caregiving is not just a job – it’s a calling. Shifts vary depending on clients' needs but are usually around 7:00 a.m./8:00 a.m. to Noon, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and sometimes evenings. Shifts can range from 3 hours to 12 hours. Caregiver responsibilities include:
- Providing companionship and conversation
- Preparing and serving meals
- Help with personal care such as bathing and grooming
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Shopping, errands, and transportation
- Other duties as assigned
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have previous caregiving experience (preferred but not required - we will train)
- Be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Be able to execute full range of motion such as bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, lifting
- Have reliable transportation to be able to get to client homes
- Be available to transport clients on errands or to appointments (mileage reimbursed)
- Be willing to travel up to 25+ miles to see clients in surrounding areas (mileage/time reimbursed)
