Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager Responsibilities Safely perform duties in a responsible manner in accordance with company policy, including maintaining general work area cleanliness. Ensure a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, supplies, and maintenance history of plant equipment. Implement equipment modifications in response to safety, quality concerns, product revisions, and efficiency improvement requests. Supervise a team of technicians for a three‑shift operation, continually developing them to consistently achieve performance objectives in a safe work environment. Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of all production equipment and plant systems. Analyze production data to prioritize corrective and preventive actions. Participate in hands‑on work as needed. Work with HR to assist with interviewing, training, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. Comply with OSHA safety and health rules. Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines, and resource plans. Work with internal and external partners to ensure seamless integration of automation technologies into existing infrastructure. Supervise daily maintenance activities and ensure safe, timely, and high‑quality execution. Other duties and projects as required. Qualifications Three (3) to five (5) years of supervisory experience in a high‑speed manufacturing environment with exposure to repair and maintenance of manufacturing and facility equipment. Proficient in Lean Manufacturing principles, workflow, and operational procedures. Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, controls, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Experience with PLCs and SAP. Proficient in safety, environment, waste (Hazmat), used oil, TPM, and 5S management. Strong experience managing capital projects and maintenance‑related automation initiatives. Ability to calculate figures using standard mathematical practices (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information to various stakeholders. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering). OSHA training. Certified forklift trainer or completion of forklift training within 180 days of hire. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
