What You'll Do
- Deliver expert nursing care to Emergency Department patients using the nursing process
- Assess patient condition and implement appropriate interventions with clinical judgment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Manage patient documentation and medical records accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and modify patient care plans
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations
- Embrace a patient-centered approach to enhance satisfaction and outcomes
What You Need
- Current Louisiana RN license
- Minimum of 2 years' emergency room or acute care nursing experience
- Valid BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and effective communication skills
- Ability to perform heavy physical work and work in a fast-paced healthcare setting
