Guided by our purpose and values, and with people at the center of everything we do, we believe every one of us can make a positive impact on consumers, communities, and teammates. Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace ( Your role at Clorox: Are you a strategic leader who thrives at the intersection of people, projects, and workplace innovation? As the Senior Facilities Project Manager, you will lead Clorox's Project Management Office (PMO), driving the successful delivery of facilities design, construction, and workplace transformation projects that directly support business growth and employee experience. In this highly visible leadership role, you'll oversee a diverse portfolio of capital projects spanning corporate offices, laboratories, pilot plants, hybrid workplace environments, renovations, decommissioning efforts, and other strategic real estate initiatives across our global footprint. You'll have the opportunity to influence how employees work while ensuring projects are executed with excellence, innovation, and strong financial stewardship. Beyond project delivery, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of the PMO by establishing best practices, enhancing governance and operating rhythms, optimizing resource allocation, and driving continuous improvement in project management processes and financial reporting. You'll lead and develop a talented team of project professionals while collaborating closely with business leaders, workplace stakeholders, consultants, architects, contractors, and cross-functional partners throughout the organization. Success in this role requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong business acumen, and exceptional leadership. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder who can effectively navigate complex projects, influence stakeholders at all levels, and inspire teams to achieve outstanding results. If you're passionate about creating innovative work environments, leading transformational projects, and making a lasting impact on both the business and employee experience, we'd love to hear from you. In this role, you will: Lead, coach, and develop a PMO team of up to three direct reports. Manage the capital project portfolio, including prioritization, sequencing, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are executed successfully through the full lifecycle, serving as the key Clorox representative from planning and design through permitting, build-out, and closeout. Lead annual and ongoing portfolio planning for capital projects, key initiatives, and PMO resource needs. Manage capital and expense project budgets in alignment with fiscal-year targets, approved priorities, and business commitments. Oversee project commitments, purchase orders, change orders, and monthly accruals to ensure compliance with finance requirements. Maintain office design standards and ensure capital projects comply with tenant improvement requirements, local building codes, and applicable governance processes. Develop and maintain vendor relationships and contracts with key partners, including general contractors, architects, engineers, and other project consultants. Drive continuous improvement of capital project management tools, templates, reporting, and processes. Independently define project approaches and develop solutions to complex technical, operational, and business challenges using sound judgment and risk management. Anticipate changing business, site, and project requirements and initiate appropriate responses that optimize overall project outcomes. Translate technical project information into clear written and verbal communications for non-technical stakeholders and leadership audiences. Evaluate, develop, and lead projects from technical, operational, financial, and business perspectives. Champion the Clorox Capital Project Management process and reinforce consistent standards across projects and teams. Build credibility through strong interpersonal, technical, and project leadership skills. Proactively manage stakeholder tension, trade-offs, and competing priorities to deliver practical, business-aligned solutions. Resolve complex issues through collaboration, root-cause analysis, and data-informed decision-making. Travel up to approximately 25% as needed to support project delivery and stakeholder engagement. What we look for: 10+ years of professional experience in project management, specifically construction management, facilities management, and/or capital project delivery, including leadership of project portfolios valued at $5M+. Demonstrated experience leading teams, developing talent, and creating a collaborative, accountable team culture. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across functions, levels, and external partners. Results-oriented leadership approach with the ability to align execution, ensure accountability, and deliver measurable outcomes. Ability to plan, prioritize, and adjust workflows while allocating limited resources to the highest-impact work. Ability to make sound decisions that integrate technical, financial, operational, and business considerations. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and situational adaptability in complex or ambiguous environments. Agile leadership style with curiosity, judgment, and initiative to recognize when change is needed and lead practical solutions through ambiguity. Fluency in reading and evaluating construction documents, including architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and related plans. Understanding building codes, permitting requirements, and their impact on tenant improvement and capital construction projects. Proficiency with construction and project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, AutoCAD, and related software platforms. (highly prefer experience with SAP and Coupa) Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
